Hamps Hall and Barn has two top-of-the-range sound systems, one in the barn living room and one in the dining room. Each has four speakers and an amp. External speakers aren’t allowed, so DJs and bands plug straight into the house system.

Inputs

  • XLR female inputs (L&R)
  • ¼-inch jack inputs (L&R)
  • Phono inputs (L&R), with adapters for ¼-inch jack sockets

Bluetooth

  • Bluetooth receiver (SR-B7)
  • Dining room system only
  • Perfect for playlists from a phone

Microphones

  • 2x ¼-inch jack microphone inputs
  • Great for speeches and toasts

Controls

  • EQ levels adjustable on the amp
  • Select the input on the amp: mixer, Bluetooth or microphone

Music indoors

  • Amplified music is only allowed inside Hamps Barn
  • DJs and bands use the living room or dining room
  • No external speakers

Music outdoors

  • Acoustic music only, until 8pm
  • Harpists, string quartets and acoustic guitars are fine
  • No DJs or bands in marquees

For your DJ

  • Bring leads to connect a mixer to the XLR, jack or phono inputs
  • Share this page with your DJ or band before your event
