Whether it’s a 40th, a 60th, a golden anniversary or a three-generation family reunion, Hamps Hall and Barn gives you the whole place to yourselves for the weekend or the week.
Gather around one table in the dining room, then move into the 50-foot barn for speeches, dancing and a DJ on the house sound system. In summer, string up fairy lights in the garden and get the BBQ going.
Need more space? Add day guests for the party, or book our nearby barn Merrymeet for another 16 beds.

Celebration FAQs
How many guests can stay for a birthday or celebration?
Hamps Hall and Barn sleeps 40 in 18 bedrooms. If you need more beds, our nearby barn Merrymeet sleeps another 16, a 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk away.
Can we invite extra guests for the party?
Yes. Day guests are welcome at £25 per person, and they need to leave by midnight.
Can we bring in caterers or a private chef?
Yes. It’s self-catering with two fully equipped kitchens, so you can cook, bring in a chef or caterer, or hire food trucks and a mobile bar.
Is there somewhere for a party and music?
Yes. The 50-foot barn is perfect for a party, and DJs plug into the house sound system. Amplified music is only allowed inside the barn, and acoustic music is fine in the gardens until 8pm.
Is it suitable for family reunions with children and grandparents?
Yes. There’s a games room and video game snug for younger guests, and four ground-floor bedrooms and an accessible wet room in the barn. Children under 15 can’t use the hot tubs.
Can we bring our dog?
